Three members of Camden County Fire Rescue have been recognized for their excellent service to the organization and to the citizens and visitors of Camden County. Camden County Fire Rescue is pleased to announce Firefighter Austin Riordan was chosen as the 2022 Firefighter of the Year, Austin Agee was chosen as the 2022 Emergency Medical Service (EMS) of the Year, and Lieutenant Garrett Tanner was chosen as the 2022 Fire Officer of the Year.
“Throughout Camden County Fire Rescue, the men and women of the department are dedicated to their service for our community and it is demonstrated daily through their bravery and diligence,” said Camden County Fire Rescue Chief Terry Smith. “We are privileged to have excellent firefighters serve Camden County.”
Firefighter Austin Riordan joined Camden County Fire Rescue in August 2018, Firefighter/A-EMT Austin Agee joined Camden County Fire Rescue in May 2019, and Lt. Garrett Tanner joined Camden County Fire Rescue in August 2018. These awards were determined through nominations from Camden County Fire Rescue staff.
