Take Action during Winter Weather Preparedness Week

December 5-9, 2022, is Winter Weather Preparedness Week and Camden County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) encourages all Camden County citizens to learn how to take proper precautions for possible inclement weather emergencies this winter. 

“Although we typically do not experience severe winter weather in Camden County, we want to encourage all residents to plan and prepare for the possibility,” said Emergency Management Director Chuck White. “We’re hopeful these tools will enable our citizens to protect themselves and their families if they are ever in these situations.

”Each day concentrates on different aspects of severe winter weather and provides critical information for preparedness, including:

  • Winter Weather in Georgia,
  • Winter Weather Terminology,
  • Winter Weather Preparation Tips,
  • Winter Weather Driving Tips/Safety, and
  • Winter Weather Outlook for 2022-2023 season.
Specific information and tips will be posted throughout the month on the Camden County EMA’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.
