City of Hinesville issued the following announcement on June 24.
Downtown paving in Hinesville is scheduled to begin next week. Traffic Control will be present to assist, but please plan for delays.
Planing/milling, resurfacing, and striping will be completed in the following areas:
• Monday, June 27th: M.L. King, Jr. Drive from Hwy 84 to Main Street
• Tuesday, June 28th: Intersection of Main Street & M.L. King, Jr. Drive
Paving dates are approximate as work may be slightly delayed depending on the weather.
