Southeast Georgia Health System issued the following announcement on Feb. 24.
The Southeast Georgia Health System Brunswick Campus welcomed two babies on Twosday 2-22-22. A palindrome date since it reads the same backward and forwards, February 22, 2022, is extra intriguing this year because it falls on a Tuesday. Furthermore, it makes for an easy birthdate for family and friends to remember.
Danyel Bragg and Jeff Daniels with Prevail Pest Control first set eyes on their precious son, Brayden Michael Daniels, at 9:57 a.m. Brayden was delivered via cesarean section by Darrin A. Strickland, M.D., board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, Southeast Georgia Physician Associates-Obstetrics & Gynecology, at the Health System’s Miriam & Hugh Nunnally Maternity Care Center. Brayden weighed 7 pounds 10 ounces and measured 21 inches long. His big brother, Atticus, looks forward to welcoming baby Brayden home.
The Health System’s Brunswick Campus also welcomed a second baby on February 22--little Nyla Maria Tazi. Megan and Adam Tazi joyfully welcomed their daughter at 12:59 p.m. Weighing in at 5 pounds 10 ounces and 19.5 inches long, Nyla was delivered by Nancy Denlea, M.D., board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, Southeast Georgia Physician Associates-Obstetrics & Gynecology. Nyla is the Tazi’s first child and the first grandbaby on both sides of the family.
