Camden County - GA issued the following announcement on Feb. 15.

The Camden County Board of Commissioners unanimously adopted the 2022-2027-2037 Strategic Plan and 2022 Action Agenda at their February 15, 2022, regular meeting. The Strategic Plan is a five-year, outcome-based set of goals with specific issues and projects that need to be addressed by the County, all with measurable objectives.

"The short term goals and long term direction for the county are available for the citizens to review through the Strategic Plan and Action Agenda. Additionally, the plan allows county employees to fully understand our mission and to provide a high level of service,” said County Administrator Steve Howard. “Through the vision and leadership of the Board of Commissioners and their commitment to future planning, Camden County can be prepared for tomorrow.”

In late November and early December, the Board of Commissioners and county staff met to review the many accomplishments of 2021 and primarily focused on the action agenda and future direction of the County for the upcoming years ahead. The Strategic Plan and Action Agenda provide the citizens of Camden a detailed look at the short, medium, and long term priorities of the county.

This year’s strategic plan includes 13 policy actions, 14 management actions, 24 major projects, and 112 management in progress items. To view the Strategic Plan, along with the new Action Agenda items, please visit the county website at https://www.camdencountyga.gov/strategicplan.
