County of Mcintosh issued the following announcement on Feb. 10.
Our new Visitor's Center project is on target to be finished 1st quarter 2022. Most are not aware this re-imagined, renovated building houses more than they think; it is also home to our Darien-Mcintosh Chamber of Commerce and is also a Regional Visitor’s Center! The design pays homage to the historic Darien waterfront tabby warehouse known as the Adam Strain building; currently undergoing a renaissance of it's own!
