SAVANNAH CHATHAM COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM: SCCPSS Student Success Expo Set for January 22nd at the Savannah Mall

Savannah Chatham County Public School System issued the following announcement on Jan 3. 

Join us for our Annual Student Success Expo and STEM Festival on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the Savannah Mall from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.  In addition to college and career information, attendees will enjoy interactive displays and learn about all public school choice program options across the district while gaining valuable information related to program pathways. 

In addition to STEM competitions, the Expo will once again feature the popular “Teddy Bear Clinic" which will focus on the Healthcare Science fields and showcase a collaboration between the school district and local healthcare professions and post-secondary institutions.  The Young Entrepreneurs and Young Inventors Showcase will also return to spotlight students in our schools who have an entrepreneurial spirit or who have invented products that make everyday life better.

Other District program highlights include: Performing Arts, Engineering, Welding, Aviation, Cosmetology, (Hair, Nails and Barbering), Culinary, Medical & Allied Health, Construction, Automotive Repair and Collision, Public Safety, and Logistics - just to name a few.  Students and parents will find a wide range of educational pathways that are sure to inspire the thirst for knowledge and higher learning.  The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System's Choice Program Application process will also kick-off at the Expo.  Parents will be able to apply on-site for the Choice school or program that meets their child's interest (SY 22-23). 

The event will include student competitions, interactive booth displays, a robotics competition, and prize giveaways.  Admission and parking is free and open to the public.
