County of Mcintosh issued the following announcement on Nov. 15.
Our new Visitor’s Center is rapidly taking shape! The Tabby is almost complete on the exterior, and the inside rooms are also being finalized. The project is on target to be finished 1st quarter 2022. Most are not aware this re-imagined, renovated building houses more than they think; it is also home to our Darien-Mcintosh Chamber of Commerce and is also a Regional Visitor’s Center!
