Camden County - GA issued the following announcement on Oct. 27.
Beginning Monday, November 1, 2021, Camden County Solid Waste will have new hours at the Camden County Landfills. The Construction and Demolition (C & D) site and the Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) site will be open Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The Old Still Yard Waste site will be open on Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. All sites are closed on Sundays.
The C & D Site is located at 1600 GA Highway 110, approximately 1.6 miles north of the intersection of Georgia Highway 40. The MSW site is located at 2750 GA Highway 110, approximately 2.75 miles north of the intersection with Georgia Highway 40. Both sites have Folkston addresses, but are located in extreme southwest Camden County. The Old Still Yard Waste site is located at 4883 Old Still Road West in Kingsland, Georgia.
