Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Oct. 26.
Small Business Saturday falls on November 27, 2021. This nationwide effort is poised to direct lots of retail traffic and revenue to U.S. small businesses. In an effort to build off of the momentum surrounding Small Business Saturday the Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Shop Local Campaign and we would like you to participate.
Shop Local Campaign Details
The campaign will run late November through December. The campaign will focus on promoting the benefits of choosing to shop local for the holidays. The Chamber will encourage members of the community to shop at local businesses with emphasis placed on businesses that participate in hosting the shop local QR code at their business and/or contribute to the gift basket.
How Does the QR Code Work
A shop local decal with a QR code will be provided to participating businesses. Customers who purchase items in your store can choose to scan the QR code to be entered into a drawing to win a holiday gift basket valued at over $1,500

The Chamber will promote the participating businesses through marketing campaigns to include but not limited to coverage in our weekly newsletter and on our social media accounts.
