City of Darien recently issued the following announcement.

The Bounty of the Sea on the beautiful, historic Darien Waterfront is set for Friday September 17th and Saturday, September 18th, 2021.- Vendor Village is open to the public with free admission.
- Tickets are on sale at the Chamber.
- Admission costs are:
o $5 Friday
o $10 Saturday
o $50 for VIP Pass which will grant you access to the VIP Tent on Spartina Grill's back deck all weekend – there will be complimentary appetizers, non-alcoholic beverages, and a cash liquor bar. A VIP Pass comes with 2 alcoholic beverage tickets.Musical Line-Up

- Saturday
o Hush 11-1pm
o Comic Chameleons 1:30-3:30pm
o Lauren Marie 4-7pm
o Salt Water Gypsies 8-11pmSeafood Dish Competition
- Create and present 200 single servings of your most creative and delish seafood dish. The competition will be held in Bluestein’s lot on the corner of Broad and Hwy 17 from 11:30-2pm.- For $10, the festival attendants get 3 tickets and to place in jars of their favorite dishes they have gotten to eat.Kids Zone:
- Petting Zoo – $2 for entry, $1 to feed the animals
- Kids Zone – affordable, bounces houses, activities with unlimited entertainment options
