County of Liberty issued the following announcement on Aug. 27.
Due to the continued rise in COVID 19 cases, and resulting emergency conditions present in the county, all Recreation Department sponsored programs and leagues are suspended until further notice effective August 30, 2021. This suspension of activities also includes any organized group use of County recreation property including fields and pavilions. This does not affect any non-organized use of public spaces including walking trails, playgrounds, and courts.
The County sincerely regrets the need to enact these measures and hopes to be able to return to normal operations as soon as conditions warrant.
