SOUTHEAST GEORGIA HEALTH SYSTEM: 'Ask a Doctor' Booth Featured at Health and Wellness Fair

Healthrecap

Southeast Georgia Health System issued the following announcement on July 19.

As with anything new, people have questions. However, sometimes it is hard to decipher the difference between myth and truth. Understanding the facts about COVID-19 and the steps people can take to eradicate it are equally important. To help keep the community informed, Southeast Georgia Health System will have an “Ask a Doctor” booth at this year’s Community Health & Wellness Fair. The booth will be set up next to the COVID-19 vaccine booth, where anyone age 12 and older is eligible to receive a free Pfizer vaccine.

The Health System is committed to keeping our communities healthy and safe and invites everyone to participate in its free Community Health & Wellness Fair on Saturday, July 24, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., at Brunswick High School.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the prevention and treatment of common chronic illnesses, participate in free and low-cost health screenings, and much more. For everyone’s protection, social distancing protocols will be implemented and face masks must be worn.

For additional information about the Community Health & Wellness Fair, call 855-ASK-SGHS (855-275-7447) or visit sghs.org/healthfair.
