County of Glynn issued the following announcement on July 20.
Georgia House and Senate officials are beginning the process of redistricting/reapportionment. The State has produced this video as a brief explanation of reapportionment, how it will impact you, and what to expect from the process. The Joint Reapportionment Committee will be hosting Town Halls throughout Georgia to hear public opinion on the topic. A Town Hall will be held on July 26, 2021 at 5pm in the Southeast Georgia Conference Center of the College of Coastal Georgia. The event will also be available online. There will be in-person public comments and written public comments can be submitted ahead of the meeting online at the committee website
