Graduates earn 590 degrees from the College of Coastal Georgia

About 41.4 percent of the 590 degrees and certificates handed out by the College of Coastal Georgia in 2017-18 were to students in liberal arts and sciences, general studies and humanities programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Brunswick conferred 244 associate's degrees in liberal arts and sciences, general studies and humanities programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies. Data shows the school gave out 244 associate's degrees in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies, followed by 69 bachelor's degrees in general business/commerce and 46 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse.

The college enrolled 3,546 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
