93 percent of applicants to the College of Coastal Georgia were admitted for fall 2018

At the College of Coastal Georgia, 75 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 68 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Brunswick enrolled 3,546 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

94 percent of undergraduates are residents of Georgia, and 5 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (66 percent) and Black or African American (19 percent).

The school admitted 93 percent of the 1,611 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 53 percent enrolled.
