Spread the News! We are now accepting applications for the Connect Glynn Educator Externship Academy Fall Cohort. The Connect Glynn Educator Externship Academy is designed to provide educators in Glynn County Schools the opportunity to observe and interact with local companies while gaining real world industry experience from several major employers in Glynn County.

Through this unique professional development opportunity, educators work with their team over three (3) consecutive days to complete the on-site requirement of the externship. They meet with key leadership, learn about the mission and vision of the company, experience a company tour, and complete job shadowing opportunities of employees in various occupations.

Over the next few weeks, we will share testimonials from previous Connect Glynn participants! Below is our first testimonial from Candance Vaughn an Instructional Support Specialist at Altama Elementary School who completed her externship experience at King & Prince Seafood in the Spring 2022.

The Fall 2022 cohort will be held: November 1-3rd.

To apply visit: www.glynn.k12.ga.us/externship/

If educators have questions about the program, please reach out to Kimberly Burgess at the Brunswick Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce. Her email is: kburgess@bgicoc.com and phone number: 912-265-0620.
