Southeast Georgia Health System Offers Free Certified Nursing Assistant Training

Would you like to have a career in healthcare, but lack the education, training or resources? Southeast Georgia Health System is now offering free certified nursing assistant (CNA) training for individuals age 18 and older.

The four-week CNA course is offered Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m., or evening classes, 5-10:30 p.m. The free training includes:

  • Guaranteed employment at Southeast Georgia Health System on completion of certification
  • Compensation while completing classroom and clinical hours
  • No fees for classes, education materials, training or testing
  • Personal mentors
  • Hands-on experience

High school diplomas are preferred, but not required. A background check will be completed prior to acceptance. For more information, call the Southeast Georgia Health System Human Resources department at 912-466-3100.
