The City of Hinesville, along with our partners Liberty Chamber and Hinesville Downtown Development Authority, are pleased to announce that Hinesville for the Holidays, the City’s annual tree-lighting ceremony, will be on Thursday, December 1 from 5 – 8 p.m. in downtown Hinesville. This event is free and open to the public and will feature free holiday – themed activities, such as train rides, photos with Santa, choral performances and more. The event will conclude with the tree lighting ceremony in Bradwell Park.

The Hinesville for the Holidays Committee will be accepting applications for approval for Booth Hosts beginning Monday, October 31. The deadline to submit an application will be Friday, November 25. Booth Hosts will need to provide a craft or activity at their booth that is holiday-themed and geared toward children and families. There is no fee to participate, but space is limited, and applications will not be accepted once all spots are filled.
