City of St. Marys issued the following announcement on Jan. 28.

The City of St. Marys is pleased to announce the selection of our new Main Street Manager, Candace Pullum. “We are extremely pleased Ms. Pullum has accepted the Main Street Manager position and are very excited about the creativity and energy Ms.

Pullum will bring to our Downtown Community,” states City Manager Robby Horton.

Ms. Pullum has been a member of the St. Marys team for 6 years. She is excited to continue the tradition and success of the current Main Street program while placing an emphasis on the interpersonal connections between the city and business owners in St. Marys. When asked what excites her the most about this new role, she stated “I have such a great love for the history and small-town life that St. Marys gives to its residents,

which includes me and my family. I can’t wait to become a more intricate part of the footprint of such an amazing community. The future potential of St. Marys is limitless.”
